How do I know if my child is registered?

If you registered directly with Peak Performance Sports Camps, then you are registered upon our receipt of your registration and full payment. Peak Performance Sports Camps will only contact you only if there is a concern about your registration. If you register on the Peak Performance Sports Camps website, you will receive an instant online confirmation. If the registration was sent to any other organization, please contact that organization directly about their confirmation policy.

My child can't attend the program after all, can I get a refund?

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering due to illness, you can apply the registration fee to a future Peak Performance Sports Camps program in the current or following year by calling 203-943-9598. If you registered through another organization, please contact that organization directly about their refund policy. If the cancellation is not illness related, we require 1 week notice for all cancellations and a refund can then be issued.

Do you have multiple child discounts?

YES! We offer a 5% multiple child discount.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who are your coaches, and what are their qualifications?

Peak Performance Sports Camps recruits certified teachers and highly motivated individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional ability to communicate well with children. Some coaches have participated in their respective sports at either the high school or college level. All coaches must complete an application, personal interview, and background investigation prior to their first day of work.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is a six hour program too long for my child? Will my child get bored, hungry or tired?

Our programs are the same duration as a typical school day, and we have found that even young children do quite well for this period of time. Our coaches have plenty of games and activities for the participants, and they will be changing activities every 10-15 minutes. The variation of activities keeps participants involved and alert. Participants take water/bathroom breaks throughout the day, as well as lunch and snack breaks. Parents are always welcome to visit.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How are the participants grouped?

Peak Performance groups children by age and ability. If your child would like to be placed with a friend, make your request with the on-site Director. The on-site Director will do his/her best to meet your request to keep friends and/or siblings that are close in age together. Our typical age groups are as follows: 4-5 year olds, 6-7 year olds, 7-8 year olds, 8-9 year olds, and 10-12 year olds.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My 7-year old has never played this sport; will he/she feel out of place?

Peak Performance Sports Camps tailors its programs to introductory and intermediate players. Groups will be divided by age and then by ability. Fun and enjoyment are priorities at our programs. The emphasis is on learning skills and techniques in a low pressure, appropriately competitive environment.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Are the programs co-ed?

Yes, unless the program listed specifically states otherwise.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My child has already attended a Peak Performance Sports Camps camp/program, will he/she learn anything new this year?

You bet! Peak Performance Sports Camps offers a progressive curriculum that develops young athletes’ skills in an age-appropriate format. Children will graduate from one program to the next.
